Mid-Scotland and Fife MSP Murdo Fraser has sponsored the Scottish Tourism Alliance’s MSP sign-up sheet at the Scottish Parliament this week.
The Conservative member is a long-time supporter of Scottish Tourism week and in recent years has witnessed the event go from strength to strength.
Scottish Tourism Week runs between the 5th and 13th of March and is an intensive week of activity aimed to increase awareness of the vital contribution Scottish tourism makes to the Scottish economy.
Commenting Murdo Fraser MSP said:
“It was great to see so many fellow MSP’s give their backing to the Scottish Tourism Week. The Scottish Tourism Alliance have worked hard to promote this event and every year it gets better and better.
“Tourism is vitally important across Perthshire, Stirlingshire and Fife. The sector is a major employer and supports much of the local economy. Mid-Scotland and Fife boasts some of the best hotels, golf courses and nature trails in Scotland, and in the year of Natural Scotland, there is no better time to visit.
“People can come to Perthshire for an experience that many places in the world cannot offer and as ever it’s a pleasure to promote both Perthshire and the Scottish Tourism Week.”
