The number of empty homes in Fife has increased again according to statistics produced by the National Records of Scotland.

Scone Post Office set to reopen

 

Mid-Scotland and Fife MSP, Murdo Fraser has joined with local councillors Dennis Melloy and Colin Stewart to welcome the reopening of Scone Post Office following its abrupt closure at the end of April.

Tough retail figures for Perth

 

Figures from the Scottish Retail Consortium have shown that in the last three years to April 2018, 195 shops have closed in Perth with only 176 opening in their place. When it comes to shop closures the Fair City is amongst the worst performing areas in Scotland.
