With winter approaching fast, an event is coming to Pitlochry that will offer tips to help ease the burden of energy costs.
SSE is hosting a complimentary Energy Advice Tour which will offer practical advice to help consumers with their energy cost; Pitlochry is the first stop on tour.
Qualified energy efficiency experts will be on hand to offer advice on energy efficiency, answer energy related questions and explain what rebates are available.
Stop by for free tea/coffee and advice anytime between 08:30 and 10:30 on Tuesday 15 October at Hydro Shop, 43 Atholl Road, Pitlochry.
Commenting Mid-Scotland and Fife MSP Murdo Fraser said;
“Despite high profile public campaigns, too few customers are switching suppliers to get the cheapest energy deal.
“Clarifying tariffs is vital for bill payers to get the cheapest possible deal
“The UK Government has made a commitment to ensure that all customers are placed on the cheapest possible energy tariff and the powers gained in the Energy Bill will be used to ensure this happens.
“I would encourage all residents in the area, who are concerned about energy bills or would like to get on a cheaper tariff to attend the event in Pitlochry.”
