Cut price fares are on offer for people travelling to Stirling for Armed Forces Day in June.
As the 100-day countdown to the national event began, coach operator National Express said it would give 50% off the journey price to the city to encourage as many people as possible to attend. Serving military personnel will receive 60% off.
Armed Forces Day was established in 2009 to mark the contribution of servicemen and women past and present.
Around 100,000 people attended last year's event in Nottingham.
Commenting Mid-Scotland and Fife MSP Murdo Fraser said:
“Armed Forces Day is an event of both remembrance and celebration and it is fantastic to see National Express reduce their fares in order to attract as many people to Stirling as possible.
“Following this announcement I am more confident than ever that Scots will travel to Stirling to pay respect to their servicemen and women, just as they did in Edinburgh in 2011.
“The people of Stirling are extremely proud to be hosting Armed Forces Day and alongside the Bannockburn celebrations Stirling can look forward to a set of truly spectacular events that will give the local economy a real shot in the arm.”
