Commenting Murdo Fraser MSP;
“I would encourage all secondary age pupils in Perth and Kinross, Fife, Stirling and Clackmannanshire to come along to the event as it promises to offer a fascinating insight into the lives of Malawians their age.
“Pupils in Scotland are fortunate to benefit from a vast number of opportunities which is put into context when compared to the experiences of their peers in Malawi.
“Thanks to Dr. David Livingstone, Scotland has an unshakeable bond with Malawi and I had the pleasure of visiting the country a few years back.
“This connection has helped foster the Scottish-Malawi Partnership and the youth congress will form an essential part in linking future generations of Malawians and Scots.”
