Mid-Scotland and Fife MSP and Convenor of the Scottish Parliament’s Tourism Committee, Murdo Fraser, has called on fellow parliamentarians to recognise the achievement of victorious businesses in the Tayside and Fife region at the annual Thistle Awards.
For over 20 years the Scottish Thistle Awards have been recognised as Scotland's tourism industry's Oscars.
The Scottish Thistle Awards celebrate and honour those who have aspired to deliver outstanding hospitality and service in the tourism sector. The awards are directed by the Industry Panel and are judged by category experts from across all regions of Scotland, making these awards truly led by industry, for industry.
Commenting Murdo Fraser MSP said:
“Tourism is a huge industry in Tayside and Fife, and the winners of awards this year have battled to the top in an extremely competitive environment.
“The spread of award winners, from Dunkeld to Leven shows just how diverse and geographically spread tourism is in Mid-Scotland and Fife.
“I would like to congratulate all of the winners and shortlisted finalists across Mid-Scotland and Fife for their hard work and dedication to providing some of the best tourist experiences in the country.”
