Scottish Conservative MSP Liz Smith has lodged a Motion to congratulate Liam King, a Cub Scout from Dunfermline, who has earned all his activity badges in under three years.
Here is the Motion that has been lodged and circulated at the Scottish Parliament:
'That the Parliament congratulates Liam King, a Cub Scout from Dunfermline, with the 39th Fife Scout Group, who has earned all his activity badges in under three years; notes that Liam earned over 60 badges, including 37 activity badges, a Thistle Award, eight challenge badges (including a Chief Scouts Silver Award) and the recently launched Great Indoors badge; further notes that Liam has learned a diverse range of skills during his time as a Cub Scout, such as lighting a fire, identifying different constellations, paddleboarding and kayaking, and wishes Liam and the 39 Fife Scout Group all the best for the future.'
