Organisations across Perth and Kinross, Fife, Clackmannanshire and Stirling have raked in a huge £88,711 of Lottery cash to spend on good causes.
Amongst the winners were Alyth Golf Club who are looking to invest funds in a new driving range that can be used by the whole community. Gymnasts also scored top marks in the latest round with both Stirling University Gymnastics club and Auchterarder Community School’s after school gymnastics club receiving vital funds.
Community groups in West Fife aiming to promote their towns and villages to visitors also received funding.
Commenting Murdo Fraser MSP said:
“Lottery funding makes a huge difference to charities up and down the country and it is great to see organisations across Perth and Kinross, Fife, Clackmannanshire and Stirling receive their fair share of funding.
“The Awards for All fund has been in existence for a number of years and has done sterling work in helping out organisations across the country.
“Whether it’s gymnastics or helping people with disabilities these awards demonstrate the variety of projects that can be helped through the small grants programme and underlines just how important funding is for transforming lives across the region.”
