Unemployment in Scotland fell by 15,000 between October and December and now stands at 149,000. Employment rose by 20,000 to 2,625,000 over the same period.
The Scottish unemployment rate is 5.4%, compared with 5.7% for the whole of the UK.
The number of people claiming Job Seeker's Allowance fell by 3,200 to 81,100 between December and January - 29,200 fewer than a year ago.

“In May voters will face a stark choice. We have the Conservatives who steered the UK from recession following years of Labour mismanagement or more of the same policies which got us into this mess from an Ed Miliband Government propped up by the SNP.”
