Mid-Scotland and Fife MSP Murdo Fraser has expressed his delight at Andy Murray’s US Open triumph.
Playing in his fifth Grand Slam Final the Olympic gold medallist edged out defending champion Novak Djokovic.
In a pulsating five set thriller Murray became the first British man to land one of tennis’s marquee events since Fred Perry in 1936.
