Murdo Fraser MSP has lodged and circulated a Motion at the Scottish Parliament congratulating the Kenmore-based Scottish Crannog Centre on being named the Best Small Museum Project.

The Motion is as follows:

Motion Number: S6M-02089
Lodged By: Murdo Fraser
Date Lodged: 11/11/2021

Title: Scottish Crannog Centre

Motion Text:

That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish Crannog Centre on being named the Best Small Museum Project at the Museums Change Lives Awards; notes that the Kenmore-based attraction beat stiff competition to win the award; understands that the judges were impressed by the Crannog’s nationally-recognised apprenticeship scheme, They Must be Giants, which involved five young people from the area each training for an SVQ in customer service and museums and galleries practice, as well as training five in-house assessors, and wishes the Scottish Crannog Centre all the best for the future.
