Commenting Murdo Fraser MSP said:
“These awards highlight Perthshire’s growing reputation as a destination for fine food and drink.
“Tourists spend over £700million a year on food and drink in Scotland and the food and drink tourism sector is growing year on year.
“The Highland Chocolatier and the Rannoch Smokery have worked very hard to carve out their own niche within the marketplace and these awards are due recognition for their efforts.
“These prestigious awards will bring national awareness to both businesses which can only be good for the businesses and Perthshire as a whole.”
