Mid-Scotland & Fife Conservative MSP Murdo Fraser is backing Keep Scotland Beautiful’s campaign the ‘National Spring Clean 2012’ and hopes hundreds of residents in Perthshire will take part and help clean up their own communities.

FIFE RAIL SERVICES RAISED IN PARLIAMENT

Parliamentary answers on Fife rail services has led to Mid-Scotland & Fife Conservative MSP Murdo Fraser calling on the Scottish Government and ScotRail to invest more and improve rail services for Fife commuters, including reinstating the 07:54 Kirkcaldy (08:14 Dalgety Bay) to Edinburgh morning service 

OLYMPIC TORCH’S PERTHSHIRE ROUTE

 MSP Murdo Fraser has welcomed the route of the London 2012 Olympic torch relay will include many towns, villages and streets in Perthshire, including; Meigle; Forfar Road and George Street through Coupar Angus; Woodside; Burrelton; Balbeggie; Angus Road, Stormont Road and Isla Road through Scone; Scone Palace; and several streets in the City of Perth including the North Inch Park.

PERTH RAISED IN PARLIAMENT

 During Ministers’ Question Time today (15 March), Mid-Scotland & Fife Conservative MSP Murdo Fraser has praised the work of the Lord Lieutenant Mel Jameson and Provost John Hulbert for gaining city status for Perth.

Mid-Scotland & Fife Conservative MSPs Murdo Fraser and Liz Smith have welcomed official confirmation that Perth has gained official city status as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
